Programs
Direct service programs in Greater Lake City, SC Area.
Free Lunch for Folks
Free Lunch for Folks is our flagship program. Every week, we distribute free bagged lunches, pantry items, and assorted cold drinks to anyone in need in Lake City and the surrounding community. We ask for nothing in return.
Free Lunch for Folks can be found on the corner of Moore Street and Ron McNair Blvd every Sunday at 1:00 PM.
We are there until we run out of lunches, which can happen pretty quickly some days!
If they can't come, pick it up for them. If you are without transportation, A Small Change can arrange delivery of a box of groceries in the Greater Lake City, SC Area. Please contact us to arrange a delivery. We are here to help.

Program at a Glance
Future Programs
A Small Change is committed to expanding our support as Lake City's needs grow. We are actively listening to our community and developing new programs grounded in the same values that guide Free Lunch for Folks.
Crisis Assistance
We are developing a crisis assistance program to help neighbors facing urgent needs in utilities, housing, and basic necessities. Our goal is to provide timely support to prevent crises from escalating and to stabilize families in our community. A flat tire should not result in homelessness. You shouldn't go hungry because of circumstances beyond your control.
Resource Navigation
We are building a structured resource navigation service to connect community members to health, housing, and benefits programs throughout Florence County.
Volunteer Coordination
We are actively looking for volunteers with skills in auto repair, plumbing, electric, roofing, and general maintenance to support our community. We are not handy people, but we want to make sure that our elderly, disabled, and other community members in need receive the support they require for home and car maintenance and safety.
